A quick update from clogger land….

The WGCC sadly paid their farewells to the old Oddfellows hall above the Hampden park Co-op a couple weeks ago.  While it’s hard to leave a place after so many years, we’re excited about the potential for a new space to freshen up our rehearsal habits and to help us become more accustomed to dancing in smaller spaces, which most of our performances require.   So, to all goose droppings out there who might want to visit us on a Wednesday night, note that WE ARE NO LONGER AT ODDFELLOWS!  For the time being we’re rehearsing at the Celtic Junction.

In other news, we’re gearing ourselves up for a big summer!  With most of us having been with the group at least a couple of years, we’ve transitioned from learning dances to refining and animating dances… to salting and vivifying dances.   We want our dances to be both beautiful and wild fun! We’re especially excited for the Hiawatha Festival coming up in mid July, and hope to be fully fine-tuned by then!  Check out our schedule to find out where else we’ll be dancing.

happy summer,

the WGCC

Goodbye Oddfellows, Hello Summer!
