The Wild Goose Chase Cloggers is a non-profit educational organization based in Minnesota.

Our mission is to promote and sustain interest in traditional Appalachian clogging by offering concerts and workshops anywhere we can find an audience. The Geese offer school programs, workshops for all ages, and performances of 15 minutes to full 1 1/2-hour concerts.

The Wild Goose Chase Cloggers was established in 1979 and consists of 11 energetic dancers accompanied by the lively music of the to-be-named band.

Auditions!

-We are excited to announce that we're looking for dancers to join our flock!-

Auditions for Male Dancers:

When: Wed. Septermber 17th,  7:30pm

Where: Ballare Teatro.  4259 Minnehaha Ave, Minneapolis

What to expect:  our audition process is relatively informal.  It's a chance for us to meet you, as well as to get a feel for how you might fit with us as a dancer.  Clogging experience is unnecessary, but a clear love of dancing and moving your body is definitely required!  Love of old-time music wouldn't hurt either.  If you know some steps, we'll have you learn a bit of a routine.  If you don't, don't fret!  We'll try to teach you some simple steps and see how you pick it up... we'll then give everybody a chance to dance with some music, however you feel inspired to do it. Afterwords we'll  ask everybody a few questions and you'll be on your way.  Merriment and Snacks will be provided.  Try to wear some hard-soled shoes, but most anything will suffice.  As long as they're not taps... please don't wear tap shoes!

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to email us at geese@wildgoosechasecloggers.org and we'll get back to you promptly.

Hope to see you there!
