A huge thank you to all who joined us for this year’s Moosejaw, our annual music and dance weekend, that was held March 7-9, 2025 at Camp St Croix in Hudson, WI! We had so much fun in boogie wonderland, and are so thankful to Four Mile Portage, Cajun Crawfish Hotdish, and caller Julie Young for joining us! Next year can’t arrive soon enough, so keep an eye out in early 2026 for announcements as we plan.

What is Moosejaw?
Moosejaw is our annual music and dance weekend! Every March (barring the pandemic), we gather community for workshops, dances, jamming, and fun. This year Moosejaw will be hosted at Camp St. Croix, located just across the river from the Twin Cities in Hudson, WI! Registration to Moosejaw can include lodging and meals; different tiers and options are available. Thanks our location and it’s proximity to the Twin Citieis, we are also providing the option of day passes this year, for folks who want to join in the fun without staying the night. Check out the registration form linked above for more info!

While the emphasis of the weekend is on old-time music and dance, we always like to mix it up! In addition to a great old-time band and experienced caller, every year a second band performs for evening social dances and we offer related workshops. In the past we’ve offered workshops in Swing, Honky-tonk and line dancing, Zydeco, and Scandinavian dancing. This year, we have the amazing Four Mile Portage and caller Julie Young bringing the old-time sounds and squares, and Cajun Crawfish Hotdish delivering Cajun music and dance. Get your dancing shoes ready!
