The home of the first and third Monday square dance. The dance starts at 7:30 p.m., and there’s a suggested donation of $5. There’s a great rotation of bands and callers for these dances, and the dance floor is huge.

Oddfellows Hall — Raymond Avenue and Hampden Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55414 (map)
The home of the first Saturday New England contra dance. The dance runs from 8 to 11 p.m. with instruction at

Tapestry offers contra dances every Saturday of the month except the first, challenge contras the first Thursday of the month, and a wide variety of other dances practically every night of the week on its two dance floors.
